🌿 East End Yoga – Our Journey Together 🌿
Now in 2025, East End Yoga is celebrating 15 wonderful years in operation. I continue to find so many benefits in teaching yoga and, most importantly, in connecting with my yoga students. Together, we’ve built a very unique and supportive yoga community—one that has grown even stronger since 2020.
During the pandemic, most of us stayed connected, and since then, I’ve branched out to offer Zoom classes online. These virtual practices have brought together yoga lovers near and far—Toronto, Whitby, Brighton, Ottawa, and even Georgia (USA). Practicing in the comfort of your own personal yoga space while still feeling the energy of a group has proven to be a beautiful and valuable experience.
But the greatest gift has been the community we’ve built through East End Yoga. Because so many of us live in the same area, we often see each other at markets, grocery stores, and in the parks. Over time, we have not only grown as yoga students but also as friends.
Since my retirement in 2024, one of the highlights of our community has been gathering once a month at different local coffee shops. These meet-ups—whether for a hot drink, lunch, or a treat—give us the chance to pause, connect, and care for one another outside of class. It’s one of my favorite parts of this journey, a true balance of yoga both on and off the mat.
I feel so grateful for every student who has walked through the doors of East End Yoga. Each one has taught me something along the way, and together we’ve created something truly special.
